BROOKLYN, NY – New York City’s most anticipated burger celebration, the Smashed Burger Block Party, returns for its third year on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at BK Backyard Bar in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The all-day festival will once again spotlight the city’s most elite smash burger vendors in a one-of-a-kind competition to crown the Best Smash Burger in NYC.

This year’s competitors include a powerhouse lineup of six highly acclaimed burger spots:

-          7th Street Burger, Gotham Burger Social Club, Nowon, Harlem Shake, NADC Burger, and Casa13 Burger

These iconic vendors will go head-to-head in a judged competition and public vote, delivering burger samples to over 2,000 attendees in a high-energy, immersive setting.

Smashed Burger Block Party 2025 is co-hosted by Beli, one of New York's most downloaded and trusted food discovery apps, and produced by GrooveBallet, the creative team behind some of NYC’s most culturally relevant experiential events. The festival is presented by Benesh Brothers, the group behind the original Smashed Burger Block Party concept.

In addition to the burger battle, the event will feature an extensive slate of culinary and cultural activations designed to elevate the festival experience:

• Live performances from local cover bands and DJs

• The return of the fan-favorite Gray’s Papaya Hot Dog Eating Contest

• On-stage programming including blindfolded burger tastings, live burger smash demos, and interviews with popular local food personalities

• Exclusive in-person content creation opportunities with food creators and influencers

General admission tickets include burger samples from each vendor and access to all event experiences. Foodies, content creators, and burger enthusiasts from across NYC and beyond are expected to attend.
